Free Composting Workshops

Throughout the year, the Gardens have partnered with the Cassowary Coast Regional Council to provide a free Composting Workshop at each month’s Community Picnic.

During these workshops, you’ll learn the following:

• All about what you can and can’t put in your compost-bin
• The right mix of ‘green’ vs. ‘brown’ materials
• How often you should mix and monitor it
• And everything else you need to know about making clean and (relatively) funk-free compost!
