Clean Up Australia Weekend
Join us Saturday to clean our community by collecting rubbish from the riverbank, followed by a sausage sizzle. Then join us Sunday for a relaxing morning of information stalls, garden tour, childrens' craft activities and our delicious BBQ lunch.

Pink Picnic
Celebrate Spring with our special Pink Picnic to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and support the Innisfail Breast Cancer Support Group. There will be fibre weaving with Okka Wikka and activity in the Bunnings Children gardens with forage and garden tours and nature play and a $5 Garden harvest lunch at noon.

Arbor Day Picnic
Celebrate Arbor Day at the Johnstone River Community Gardens with our annual Arbor Day Picnic with tree planting and education, stalls, childrens plantings and activities, and a guided tour with President and Arborist Bernard Holden. All this followed with a picnic lunch at noon.

Join us at Johnstone River Community Gardens for an informative day about Permaculture including stalls and presentations from people who are living off the produce from their own gardens following Permaculture principles. Our usual guided tours, childrens activities and BBQ lunch are happening!

ECO Picnic
Join us on Sunday 6th June to celebrate World Environment Day, ECO Week and the JRCG Opening Anniversary.
Free activities include...Garden sponsors displays; Beekeeping, composting, fibre-weaving workshops; plant, seed and craft stalls; Children's Activities and Nature Play; plus foraging & Garden Tours.
Refreshments and Garden Harvest Lunch available.
This event will follow QLD Gov Covid Safe Guidelines. Potential attendees WILL NOT be admitted if they have returned from overseas within the last two weeks, have flu-like symptoms or have had or been in contact with anyone who has contracted the virus.
